Langkawi 2013 Part 6- Time to say goodbye

Day 4

Sebab hari ni nak balik kan, so haruslah bangun awal. Lagipun mak-mak kena siapkan diri dulu sebelum siapkan anak-anak. pak-pak kasi chan lah tidur lebih sikit sebab dorang nak drive kan :)

Lepas dah siap-siap, pukul 7.30 pagi bertolak pegi jeti. Nasib baik amik 2 kereta, kalau tak memang tak muat lah beg yang telah beranak pinak tu. Sampai jetty dalam pukul 8 pagi, pulang kereta pastu lepak kat kedai mamak Hameed kat jeti. Ni me nak complain pasal kedai mamak ni.. ada ke patut hanya jual roti telur je? roti kosong depa tak nak buat. macam confuse kan, bukan roti biasa tu bahan-bahan sama je ke dengan roti telur, cuma roti telur kena tambah telur. We all speku sebab mamak ni nak untung, ye lah roti kosong depa jual RM 1 sekeping tapi kalau roti telur depa jual RM2 sekeping.. haaa.. dan dah untung lebih tu? tak baik tau encik Mamak amik untung lebih2, kalau lah customer yang allergic dgn telur takkan hang nak paksa orang tu makan roti telur gak? tak patut... tak patut. mentang-mentang lah hang sekoq je yang juai roti canai kat situ, amik kesempatan pulak ye. Mak report nanti baru tau huhu

Dalam feri kami anak beranak bantai tido, sedar-sedar je dah sampai Kuala Perlis dalam pukul 11.00 pagi. angkat barang masuk dalam kereta pastu terus jalan. Sebab my other half and my SIL keje the next morning so haruslah kena balik cep at-cepat; Tapi jalan jem, we all stuck kat Perak lama jugak, sudahnya sampai kat JB pukul 3.30 pagi. Kesian kat my other half, dah lah penat driving, pastu esok keje plak tu... apo nak buek...

So lepas trip langkawi ni ada 2 trip menanti, Ho Chi Minh dan Bandung. Haruslah penuhkan balik tabung ayam yg dah bocor disebabkan trip langkawi ni :)

Langkawi 2013 Part 5

Day 3

Today's mission is cable car ride to top of Gunung Mat Chinchang. Kalau pegi langkawi tak naik cable car ni macam tak lengkap sebab view from the top is awesome, i swear! Even i have height fright, i won't miss it.. ni kali kedua naik cable car langkawi ni. First time naik berdua dengan my other half way back in 2007. masa tu Adam baru 8 bulan, so we went for honeymoon at Langkawi. Masa first time naik cable car dulu memang aku tutup mata along the ride. mak ni kan gayat.. so this time azam aku tak nak tutup mata and i will enjoy the scenery along the ride.. kita tgk berjaya ke tak azam aku ni hihihi..

We all sampai kat Oriental Village pukul 11.00 am. Tengok org beratur nak beli tiket, ya ampun ramai gila. Nasib baik semalam dah beli tiket kat Zarina Lets Go n Travel so me dengan bangganya terus ke kaunter 1 yang kosong giler(muka riak seyhhh). Dah redeem ticket, dapat boarding pass pukul 3.20 pm. Haaaa.. ingat flight je ada boarding pass?cable car pon ada tau.

Sementara tunggu boarding time, we all jalan-jalan kat oriental village tu. Macam-macam activiti boleh buat kat sini, ada restaurant, ada kedai souvenir, bole naik boat dan naik kuda. My nephew pulak sibuk nak naik kereta kuda, RM 5 per person untuk ride yg tak sampai 5 minit pun. Mahal nak mam***.. tapi sebab my nephew dah merenggek2 so terpaksa ler mak nya ikutkan je. 3 orang naik kereta kuda tu kena bayar rm 15, my niece yang umur 2 tahun pun dikira sekali. Cekik darah betul! Mula-mula me nak naik bot keliling tasik yang tak berapa nak besar tu, tapi sebab panas giler malas pulak nak mengayuh boat time panas-panas tu.

Tepat pukul 3.20 pm, we all beratur kat boarding gate. Sebab me bawa budak so me dapat priority terus naik kat atas, my in law pun dapat priority gak. So my other half yg beratur dgn my bro in law. me bersenang lenang kat atas dapat duduk.. best giler.. hihihi. My other half beratur ada lag dalam 45 minute baru bole naik cable car. Adam orang yang paling excited sebab dulu dia nak naik cable car kat Sentosa Island Spore tak dapat, mama nya kan gayat. Alisha pulak sedap tidur masa nak naik atas tu. So masa second time naik cable car ni i managed to overcome my height fright, yeay!

Turun dari cable car dah pukul 4.30 pm, sempat me beli fridge magnet cable car. RM 10 seketul, mahal giler, Tapi sebab me memang minat kumpul FM, pejamkan mata jek. Kat Madame Tussauds Sydney me beli FM seketul AUD 5, so kalau FM seketul RM 10 kira murah lah kan? heeee

So lepas settle naik cable car, we all berpecah. Golongan bapa2 yang berdedikasi balik hotel nak bawa anak-anak mandi pool, golongan ibu-ibu yang lagi berdedikasi nak sambung shopping kat Kuah. Keji tak? hihihi. Sekali sekala takpe lah kan, selama ni ibu-ibu yang dok jaga anak-anak so kali ni kita biarkan suamai-suami mithali jaga anak sementara ibu-ibu shopping :)

So anak-anak dan suami-suami balik naik unser balik hotel, ibu-ibu pula naik wira pegi shopping. me likey! Sebelum shopping, we all singgah jetty dulu nak beli tiket feri untuk esok. Kalau kat langkawi ni, tiket feri boleh beli one day before departure tapi kalau kat Kuala Perlis tak boleh. 

Lepas beli tiket we all terjah Hj Ismail Group dan Idaman Suri for last minute shopping. Selagi duit tak habis selagi tu tak puas kan? hihihi

Abis shopping dalam pukul 9 mlm we all plan nak tapau je makanan bawa balik hotel. Sebab suami-suami dah kepenatan dan malas nak keluar makan. So me singgah Gerai Kak Bedah nak tapau makanan. Kak Bedah again? Sebab we all malas nak mencari kedai lain yang tak tentu sedap kan, so we all decide beli je lah kat kak Bedah tu. Sementara tunggu Kak Bedah buat order kitarog, we all layan Cendol Pulut yang marvellous tu :)

Balik hotel, bagi anak-anak makan terus packing beg sebab esok feri pukul 9.30 pagi. So haruslah sesudah subuh keluar dari hotel sebab jarak hotel yang agak jauh dari jeti. Beli barang tak fikir kan macam mana nak bawak balik, ni lah akibatnya. pening kepala nak packing. Nasib baik me dah biasa travel so berjaya lah jugak packing with less bags. 

lepas packing tido awal sebab semua kepenatan. esok kena bangun awal... daaaaaa..

Langkawi 2013 Part 4

Day 2

Lepas makan cendol dan laksa kat kedai kak bedah tu we all balik hotel sebab dah janji dengan the kids nak pegi pool. so layman dorang mandi laut and pool.

malam tu plan nak pegi dataran Lang dan cari makan kat area situ. Nak jadikan cerita kasut my niece tertinggal kat kedai kak bedah tu so singgah kejap kedai dia nak amik kasut. rupanya kedai tu malam-malam ada jual masakan panas. so sebab PIL dah lapar, we all decide makan kat situ je. We all order tomyam campur, sotong goreng tepung, ayam goreng kunyit, nasi goreng kampung,nasi goreng cina,moui sup, nasi goreng ikan masin dan char kuew tiaw. Dinner malam tu utk 12 org RM 70. me rasa kira ok lah, tak mahal sangat. Tom yam dia mmg sedap, kaw giler, banyak plak tu udang dan sotong. udang besar2 plak tu. makanan goreng2 dia pon sedap. portion besar plak tu. sepinggan boleh makan 2 orang.

Lepas dinner we all pegi dataran Lang.. lepak2 dah amik gambar.

Langkawi 2013 Part 3

Day 2

Pagi-pagi me dah bangun. Had a brisk walk along the beach and it's awesome. Siap-siap untuk berjalan, breakfast kat bilik. sebab me book under RPP, so kalau nak breakfast kat hotel bayar rm 8 untuk ala carte. tapi sebab we all dah beli roti so makan breakfast kat bilik je. 

First destination is Haji Ismail Group. Time we all sampai tu baru bukak dan tak ramai orang lagi. Kedai ni kecik je, susunan barang pon macam tak teratur. Dengar-dengarnya bangunan Hj Ismail Group tgh dalam pembinaan, besar jugak macam shopping complex. Mesti best giler kalau dah siap. me survey corelle kat sini. sebab memang plan nak beli corelle. Tapi yang tak best square dinnerware dah takde stock. frust betul. tapi me tak beli dulu. nak survey tempat lain dulu

me beli chocolate kat sini. Borong whittakers gold almond bar banyak giler. 1 pack yang ada 3 ketul almond bar rm 7.90, kalau beli 3 packs rm 22. so me borong sampai 15 packs. tapi bukan me punya semua sebab ada orang kirim gak. beli Ritter Sport rm 3.90 satu. me borong sampai 5. macamana lah nak diet kalau macam ni huhuhu. Cari sudu kat sini, bole dah habis stock tinggal garfu jek :(

Lepas tu we all pegi Idaman Suri. Survey harga corelle kat sini mahal dari Hj Ismail Group. Me beli sudu kat sini. sedozen RM 5.90. My MIL beli pressure cooker 5 liter RM 89. me tak beli apa sangat kat Idaman Suri ni. tapi my SIL beli macam-macam...

After dah penat beli barang baru terasa lapar. so we all decide nak makan kat kedai makan sebelah Idaman Suri je. Malas nak pegi jauh-jauh. Makanan boleh tahan dan takde lah mahal sangat.

Lepas lunch we all patah balik pergi Hj Ismail Group. Time ni dah ramai orang. Sbb kat  Ismail Group corelle square dah abis stock so me wiki-riki kat Langkawi Saga yang berhadapan dengan Ismail Group. Me tengok harga corelle sama je dengan Ismail Group and me decide nak beli kat sini. Lagipun kedai ni lengang sikit compared to Ismail Group so boleh pilih dengan tenang. Me beli corelle iris shadow square dinnerware 12 pieces RM 299 dan corningware iris shadow 3 beradik RM 300+ ( dah tak ingat harga sebenar)

Lepas puas shopping(walaupun tak berapa nak puas :P) we all pergi makam mahsuri. Sebenarnya bukan nak pegi sgt pon makam mahsuri sebab dulu dah pernah pegi, tapi sebab nak cari Cendol Pulut yang sedap kat simpang nak masuk ke makam mahsuri tu. Pernah pegi makan cendol kat situ masa 6 tahun lepas. Rupa-rupanya kedai cendol tu dah tutup, agak kecewa lah jugak. Tanya kat orang sekitar tu rupanya kedai cendol tu dah pindah. Gigih me n my other half cari akhirnya jumpa jugak dengan Cendol Kak Bedah. Makan cendol pulut dan laksa. Perghhhh memang best lah. Laksa kak bedah mmg sedap kalah laksa power kat tepi airport tu. Sampai sekarang teringat-ingat lagi kesedapan laksa kak bedah. 

Direction to kedai kak bedah:

dari kuah akan jumpa Hospital Langkawi on the left side. Jalan terus then lepas 2 traffic light akan jumpa signboard ke makam mahsuri kat 2nd traffic light tu. Jgn belok kat situ tapi jalan terus sampai jumpa u-turn dalam 500 m dihadapan. u-turn dan slow down sikit sambil perhatikan signage cendol pulut kak bedah on the left side.

Langkawi 2013 Part 2

We arrived at langkawi after 1 hour + ferry ride. Sampai je kat jetty terus cari booth Lets Go and Travel untuk sewa kereta. Me dah book toyota unser dan iswara dengan Zarina sebelum datang langkawi. Alhamdulillah, dapat kereta yang dah dijanjikan dan condition pon ok.  if any of you plan to go to langkawi and looking for car, can contact Zarina 0194658363.She's reliable. wah dah macam promoter plak ye ;)
dah dapat kereta so we all jalan-jalan cari makan. ronda-ronda kat pasar malam di pekan Kuah dan beli makanan. sebab dah kepenatan we all tapau je makanan and nak makan kat bilik. bayangkan our journey dah almost 18 hours so semua dah lembik.
me dah book rumah peranginan persekutuan langkawi atau lebih dikenali sebagai federal villa. RPP langkawi ni terletak di Pantai Tengah dan di uruskan oleh Holiday Villa Langkawi so segala urusan check in adalah di Holiday Villa.
Masa check in tu staff Holiday Villa offer free upgrade to seaview suite. sebelum ni me book suite federal villa yang ada 2 bilk. so me request nak tgk kedua2 bilik dan after discuss with my other half, we all setuju nak amik seaview suite di Holiday Villa. Apa beza federal villa dan holiday villa? federal villa 3 star, jauh sikit dari laut dan pool. Holiday Villa 5 star dan mengadap laut, sebelah pool. So of course lah me choose Holiday Villa suite kan? Borak-borak dengan staff yang bawa kami tgk bilik tu saja tanya2 harga holiday villa suite tu, rm 1200++ semalam... haaaa amik ko! Nasib baik free upgrade, merasa lah dok kat suite yang harga ribu raban semalam tu :)

master bedroom ada satu katil king dan satu sofa bed. sofa bed tu bole transform jadi katil so boleh tido kat situ. dalam master bedroom ada satu flat screen TV dan juga toilet.

Living room ada 2 single beds, satu sofa bed, mini counter, dining table dan toilet. buka je sliding door kat living room tu terus nampak laut. me likey!

Langkawi 2013 Part 1

The most tiring journey.......
Me pegi langkawi masa cuti CNY aritu dgn family in laws..
Ya ampunnnn jem sana sini, bertolak dari JB pukul 10 mlm sampai jetty Kuala Perlis pukul 12 tghari sebab jalan sesak northbound. waddahel????
kesian kat my other half  yg jadi driver, me of course lah co-pilot yg tak boleh diharap.. tido manjang :P
me offer nak take over driving tak bagi, so wat can i do is tido je lah

sampai jetty Kuala Perlis orang ramai gilerrr.. me beratur nak beli tiket dan my other half cari parking and settle hal anak2. beratur nak dapatkan tiker je dah saju jam, dah lah panas giler. nasib baik my BIL take turn beratur plak sbb tak laratttt weeehhh berdiri lama-lama.

dapat tiket ferry pukul 3.20 pm, then lepak-lepak jap kat masjid area jetty tu, basahkan badan; ye lah belum mandi pagi lagi kan, solat and makan2.
sekali ferry pon delay lak. pukul 4.30 pm baru jalan... aiyooo sentap mak tau!

Sad Story

Alisha in the incubator

That was alisha 4 years back. Alisha dilahirkan prematurely pada usia kandungan 29 minggu dan birth weight hanya 900 gram. aku tak boleh tengok gambar ni mesti mengalir air mata. teringat kembali susah payah yang kami sama-sama harungi di saat awal kelahirannya. Alisha berada di Neonatal ICU selama sebulan dan di normal wad selama sebulan. 2 bulan aku berkampung di hospital. Masa tu rumahku adalah hospital. Being as a postgraduate student dan hubby dan family jauh memang betul-betul mencabar. Aku terpaksa melakukan segalanya sendirian. Aku tak tau dari mana datangnya kekuatan, tapi yang aku tahu aku perlu kuat untuk anak aku. Sambil menaip ni pun dah berjurai-jurai air mata keluar, mengenang kembali saat aku benar-benar diuji oleh Allah. Sungguh berat dugaan allah berikan pada ketika itu tapi alhamdulillah kami dapat menghadapinya dengan sabar.

This is alisha now... she is an adorable girl. Alhamdulillah, berkat doa semua, alisha membesar sebagai kana-kanak yang normal. Syukur padaMU ya Allah... i could not asked for more

A letter from mother to daughter

Dear my lovely daughter.. I know u will not understand what am I going to write but one day if u read about this, please take note that I really love you and nobody in this world love you like I do. When I was carrying u in my womb, you're such a good baby. You never gave me trouble neither burden me. That was my first experience pregnant without your papa and also nenek and atuk by my side.It was tough, studying with a big tummy and did everything all by myself.but I never regret because I know I have you with me. We did the studying together, remember? While I was memorizing the Anatomy, physiology and ect ect you always kicking and dancing inside the womb. But Allah wanted to test our patience and on 4 th august 2009 you've been delivered prematurely. I still remember that night I had massive bleeding with labour contraction. I suffered it alone at my house. At that time, I kept praying Allah will let you survive and I didn't mind if He take me as long as you will be safe. I cried alone and did not know what to do.I tried to drive myself to hospital but I couldn't. It was painful and the bleeds was terrible. But Alhamdulillah, Allah sent us savior.. We should thank to auntie Farra and tok mi for saving us. We owe them a lot.. A priceless debt. May Allah give the good rewards to them, insyaallah. Delivering you alone without family is killing. I just leave it to Allah.. I even called your papa and grandparents asking for forgiveness, if I couldn't see them again after this. You're delivered without crying.. They intubated you so you can continue breathing. I even could not see you for the first time because they directly send you to the neonatal ICU.do you know how my heart broke into pieces.. Do you know darling everytime I saw you with the wire all around your body and the doctor pricking here and there, I feel like I'm a useless mother. How I wished I would replace your place. And at that time my final exam is just two months ahead. I could not focus on my study because I kept crying everytime I think about you. I nearly quit because I could not take it anymore at that time. But alhamdulillah , Allah give me the strength and spirit to keep on fighting. Do you know sweetheart you are the one who give me the inspiration. Seeing you fighting for life make me realized that you need me to be strong. During that time, I spent a lot of my time being by your side. Before I go to class, I'll expressed my breast milk. During night time, I'll sleep beside your side. I also do studying beside you.. Do you still remember I talked to you how the mastication take place? And do you still remember spinothalamic tract that I explained to you? While all my friends perform a study group, I studied with you. It was fun anyway. Alhamdullilah, all the hard work have been paid off. We won our battle dear.. You are finally fit to be discharged from hospital and I passed my primary fracds. I won't be that strong without support from your lovely papa and also your atuk and nenek. We owe them, baby. How time flies... 2 years have been passed and seeing you now I could not believed you are still with me. Thank you Allah for the precious gift ; Nur Alisha Nuha. Happy 2nd birthday sayang.. Be a good girl. Even though I am unable to be with you during your birthday, but my heart and my prayers are always with you. I love you very much, please remember that. May Allah give you a good health and a bless. Ya Allah, thank you for everything. Subhanaallah.. Allahuakbar

1. Paddy's market

Kalau nk beli aussie souvenir such as fridge magnet, tshirt, key chain, Paddy's market lah tempatnya. Paddy's buka dari jam 9am-5pm everyday except tuesday. Harga kat sini murah sikit dari tempat lain.

How to get there
Very near to Town Hall station or Central station. Me biasanya naik train sampai Central then jalan kaki sikit untuk ke Paddy's. Kalau tak sure, tanya local people. They are willing to help


2. DFO

Sydney Direct Factory Outlet

DFO is a factory outlet and sells cheaper off-seasonal item. Byk outlet dalam ni such as sketchers, oroton,  Ralph Lauren, Strandbags, perfume and many more. DFO ni off town sikit, terletak di homebush so it takes about 45 minutes to reach there. Bole pergi dengan kereta ot train. Me selalu naik train je. How to get there

Take the train to Strathfield and from there take bus no 525 or 526. Ask the bus driver to stop u at DFO. 

Tak mahal ke brg kat Sydney? it's depends pada jenis barang. Biasanya time summer dan winter memang ada sale dan brg2 boleh tahan murah even lps convert ke msia ringgit. Me selalu pergi time winter and summer so memang ada sale. Selalu me borong baju my kids yg memang murah giler. Pumpkin Patch kat KLCC mahal giler, tshirt biasa je dah nk rm 70-80, kat Sydney bole dpt tshirt around AUD 15-20. Murah kan? Me yg memang dasar cheapskate memang borong pumkin patch.

Gymboree pun murah giler kt Sydney. Me beli legging my girl AUD 2 lebih kurang rm 7 lepas convert. Damn cheap... kat pasar malam pon tak dapat legging harga rm 7. Perfume pon murah jugak kat Sydney tapi depends pada jenis perfume. Macam Elizabeth Arden mmg murah lah tapi DKNY harga sama dengan msia. Previous trip to Sydney mmg me borong perfume tapi sejak dah jumpa Mustafa kt Singapore yg harga nya way cheaper than here, me dah tak borong dah perfume kat Sydney.

Sydney 2012 Part 2- Snow fall @ Blue Mountains

Subhanallah... Alhamdulillah.. Tak sangka me boleh rasa sendiri macamana snow jatuh atas kepala. Sukar nak gambarkan perasaan. It was awesome. Time tu dah nak balik memang hujan lebat. We all dalam bas nk pergi ke Katoomba Station. Masing-masing melayan perasaan, Tiba-tiba me perasan kat tingkap bas ada tompok-tompok putih. Me tanya kawan.. 'apa tu?' then my friends cakap 'eh macam snow, takkan lah..' Then makin banyak tompok2 putih kt tingkap bas. Mmg betul, it's snowing. We all punya lah excited sebab kat Msia mana ada snow. The bus driver pon perasan sbb masa nak turun dari bas tu uncle to siap ckp 'enjoy your snow'..
Turun dari bas, we all tak peduli terus main snow yg tgh turun. Mmg sejuk giler tapi sbb excited sgt dh tak peduli dah. Camwhoring during the snowfall adalah kemestian. Saksikan lah mcm mana me and kawan2 me sakan main snow.

Sydney 2012 Part 2- Blue Mountains day trip

This entry is super duper long. So please bear with me

A trip to Sydney will not complete without a visit to Bluemountains. It can be reachable by train or car. The journey takes less than two hours from Sydney CBD

The most memorable trip in my life because i had my first ever snow fall. it was really awesome.

how to get there- from Central get Blue Mountains Line and stop at Katoomba Station. You can choose to do the sightseeing by your own or you can get package from Trolley Shoppe.Me amik day tour package from The Trolley Shoppe. Trolley Shoppe located just across the Katoomba station. Kalau tak silap the price was AUD 45. The package consist of hop on hop of trolley tours of 29 attraction in Katoomba and Leura, Scenic Railway and Scenic Cableway.

Kisah dongeng masyarakat di sini menceritakan 3 adik beradik yang telah disumpah menjadi bukit kerana mereka bercinta dgn pemuda yang berlainan tribe. Lepas tu bomoh yang sumpah mereka jadi bukit tu tak sempat nak tukar mereka balik ke manusia pulak mati, so kekal lah 3 bukit yg dinamakan 3 sister. Begitulah kisahnya..

My third time being here

for muslim, be careful because some of the shop serves pork so make sure you read carefully the menu. and some of the shop serves beer battered fish, so to be on the safe side,it's better you ask first. 

we came late around 3 pm and not many choices left. So we had fish and chip. so people, please go early before 3 pm fro better choices

how to get there- get bus 501,504,505,506 at the side of Town Hall then ask the bus driver to let you stop you at birkenhead point. Most of them are really helpful.
